About Me

I write short and long fiction. My story, ‘Pig Hunting’ won the 2023 Sargeson Prize, and I was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize for my story, ‘So Clean‘.

My short fiction has been published in a variety of journals and I am fortunate to have enjoyed several residencies.
I hold a Master of Creative Writing (with first class honours) from the University of Auckland.

I am grateful to the Crystal Arts Scholarship for helping to fund my studies. I have also been supported by the NZSA with a mentorship and a CompleteMS Assessment.
My debut novel, LIT, will be published by Echo Publishing 2nd June 2026.
